« Art in Nature » artist collective in Paris (english)

October 4th till October 9th : Bibim, a korean exhibition in Paris (비빔展)

Six young artists  (KIM Kwang Hyun, KANG Eun Jung, KANG Tae Woo, PARK Hyun Jung, SUNG Baeg, YOON Do Young) coming from Busan, the second major city in South Korea, are glad to invite you to their collective show that will be held from October 4th till October 9th at la Galerie Oberkampf in Paris.

 

In korean, « Bibim » means « mix, rub », and it reminds of « bibimbap », this famous and delicious emblematic korean dish. Here, it means that the artists who are working in different art fields (painting, sculpture, street art…), will join their talents and energy together in this exhibition so as to show you their work marked by traditional culture and modernity.

This exhibition  comes after their residency at La Générale, which has been welcomed with enthusiasm and curiosity by the french public that went to their "Post Chuseok" presentation on September 28. It will offer you a chance to go far from France and try an uncommon cultural flavour.

In the menu : performances, live painting to the sound of gayageum, the so-called "makgeolli of Paris", and some culinary surprises.
